GENERAL INFORMATION
Kingston Portuguese School provides the Portuguese community with Portuguese as a foreign or heritage language classes to preschool and elementary school children, as well as to teenagers in secondary school.
The students do not need to have any knowledge of the Portuguese language. The instructor will adopt the appropriate strategies for the students that are at differing levels of knowledge of Portuguese.
The Elementary school classes are free, with the exception of the manual, which will be bought at a nominal cost.
The Credit Course classes have a cost of $30.
The classes for preschool and elementary school children are at Limestone Community Education (164 Van Order Drive, Kingston, ON).
The lessons at Kingston Portuguese School are on Saturday mornings from 10.30 AM to 1.00 PM, from September to June. There are no lessons on holiday periods.
